Women’s Cross Country Finishes Fifteenth at Paul Short Invitational
Lia Cross and Joanne Campbell lead the Raiders in the field of 220 Runners

LEHIGH, PA – The Colgate women’s cross country team finished fifteenth as a team on Saturday at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.  The Invitational was comprised of 23 teams and 220 competitors.  The Raiders were led by first-year Lia Cross who finished the course in 22:44, good enough for 48th place overall.  Not far behind was senior Joanne Campbell who finished in 22:56 and 53rd overall.  Coming in next for the Raiders was first-year Emily Tansey, followed by sophomore Jess Dunton, and first-year Julia Barker to round out the top five for the Raiders.

The team next travels to Bucknell for the Gulden Invitational on October 5th.
