HAMILTON, NY -  The Raiders won both sides of Colgate's Harry Lang Invitational for the first time today. 

The Colgate men dominated their race with Loius DiNuzzo (Loundonville, NY) leading the pack.  DiNuzzo finished first overall with a time of 26:15.  His time moves him to the eighth best Colgate time on the Harry Lang course. 

The Raiders finished three other runners in the top ten with Travis Brooks (Oak Park, IL) at third with a time of 26:39, freshman Robert VanDine (Binghamton, NY) at sixth with a time of 27:04 and Ian Hill (West Hartford, CT) at ninth with a time of 27:19.  VanDine's time was the top time among of freshmen competing today.

For the women, all of Colgate's runners finished in the top 25.  Senior Jenny McCarthy (Rutland, MA) led the Raiders with a second place finish and a time of 24:06.  She was just seconds behind the first place finisher, Lauren Tuchband of Binghamton University.

Sophomore Stephanie Davis (Old Tappen, NJ) was Colgate's only other runner in the top ten with a fifth place finish and time of 25:07. 

Danielle Gabay (Mississaugua, Ont.), freshman Anna Shaver (Santa Rosa, CA) and newcomer Joanne Campbell (Waterville, NY) finished as a team at 12^th, 13^th and 14^th respectively.  Their times were 26:32, 26:33 and 26:37 respectively.

Freshman Christine Hart (East Aurora, NY) had a good first showing finishing 20^th with a time of 27:24 with senior   close behind at 22^nd with a time of 27:51.  Rounding out the pack for the Raiders was freshman Jessica Dunton (Lebanon Springs, NY) who finished 25^th with a time of 28:16.

The women will travel to the Syracuse Invitational for their next meet on Sept. 15.  The men are scheduled to travel to Boston for a meet with UMass, Vermont,Boston University, Maine and Cornell on Sept. 15^th as well.
