Women's Cross Country Finsihes 9th at ECAC Championships

New York, N.Y. – The Colgate women’s cross country team finished 9th out of a field of 18 teams on Saturday.  The team scored 249 points, while Princeton easily won the meet by scoring 79 points.a

The team was led by senior Joanne Campbell who finished the 5k course in a time of 19:37, and in 25th place.  Following Campbell was first-year Lia Cross who finished only six seconds behing Campbell in 34th place.  Sarah Heldebrand came in third for the Raiders in her second meet of the year, with a time of 19:54.  Rounding out the top five for the Raiders was first-year Julia Barker, and sophomore Jessica Dunton who finished fourth and fifth for the team respectively.  The last two finishers for the team were sophomore Anna Shaver and first-year Lauren Kerensky.
