Women’s Cross Country Competes at Albany Invitational

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Colgate women’s cross country team finished twelfth out of nineteen teams on Saturday afternoon at the Albany Invitational 5k run.

Lia Cross (Skaneateles, N.Y.) had another solid performance, leading Colgate with a 13^th place finish in a time of 19:02.68. Senior Joanne Campbell (Waterville, N.Y.) finished in 33^rd place, running the course in a time of 19:35.81. Anna Shaver (92^nd), Julia Barker (96^th), Jessica Dunton (100^th) and Lauren Kerensky (161^st) also finished for the Raiders.  

Middlebury College finished in first with a score of 18 points while Colgate finished in twelfth with 293.

The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 2 as they travel to West Point, N.Y., to participate in the Patriot League Championships which will by held on Army’s campus.
