Freshman Year (2004-05):
Cross Country—Competed
in her first year of cross country after playing field hockey in
high school…finished ninth in the Harry Lang Invitational
4200-meter run…posted a personal-best 6k time of 24:19.52 in the
open division at the Lehigh University Paul Short Run…competed
in the Penn State National Cross Country Open A division.
Indoor Track—helped distance medley relay team to
third-place finish at Patriot League Championships…also a member
of record-setting 4x800 relay team that earned fifth place at
league championship meet…took second in the 800-meter run with a
personal-best time of 2:19.67 at the Class of ’32
Invitational…crossed the line in fourth in 800 at SLU
Open…finished seventh in the 1,000 at Reebok Boston Indoor Games
with a season-fastest time of 3:02.13. Outdoor Track—Helped
the 4x800-meter relay team set a new school record of 9:09.03 to
earn fourth place at the Patriot League Championships…was a
member of the 4x800 relay ECAC qualifying team that ran the
second fastest time in school history at the ECAC
Championships…part of 4x800 relay that won the Bison Outdoor
Classic…ran a personal-best 2:17.25 in the 800 at Bison Outdoor
Classic…earned track and field team’s Most Outstanding Freshman
of the Season award.

Named Western Maine Conference MVP in 2002, 2003 and 2004 ...
Named Greely Athlete of the Winter Season in 2003 ... Served as
team captain in 2004 ... Won the state championship in the 3,200
in 2002 ... Won the state championship in the 800 and 1,600 in
2003 and 2004 ... Set the state record in the 800 in 2003 ...
