LONG BEACH, CALIF.--  The Colgate University women's track and field team continued their competition in California Saturday with members of the squad participating in the Long Beach State Invitational and the Mount Sac Invite.

At LBS, Andrea Graham (Mississaugua, Ont.) ran a season best in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.53.  Freshman Beth Stephenson (Hyannis, Mass.) ran a personal best in the 200 with a 26.53 and jumped a 17' 6" in the long jump.

At the Mount Sac Invite, senior Jenny McCarthy (Rutland, Mass.) ran a personal best in the 1500 with a time of 4:38.13.  Her time is also third best in Colgate history.

The women's track and field team will next compete at the Penn Relays were the distance medley relay team will compete in the championship section.
