Boston, MA- On Saturday the Colgate Women's Track team traveled to Boston where it competed in the first day of the ECAC Indoor Track Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center.  The Raiders received a strong performance yet again from Maura McCusker.  The junior finished second overall in her heat with a time of 2:08.35.  With her finish, McCusker is seeded sixth going into the finals of tomorrow's race.  The time was also an NCAA Provisional mark for McCusker.
Also running for Colgate was Senior Jenny McCarthy in the 1,000 meter run.  McCarthy finished 11th overall which was not good enough to make it to the finals but still ran a solid time of 2:54.59.
The last day of competition concludes tomorrow with final events.  After the first six events that have been completed Seton Hall University is in first with a score of 27 points while the University of Pittsburgh and Liberty University are in second and third respectively with 15 and 14.5 points.  Colgate will look to receiving points tomorrow from McCusker in the 800 meter finals.
