WOMEN'S TENNIS SCORCHES BUCKNELL 6-1

Lewisburg, PA (4/8) - The Colgate women's tennis team regained its momentum by downing Patriot League opponent Bucknell 6-1.  The Red Raiders, coming off of a loss against league rival Lehigh, garnered a necessary solid victory just weeks before the Patriot League Tournament (Apr. 28/29).

At number one singles, Lauren Erikson cruised to an impressive 6-0, 6-2 victory over Jill Wurzburg.  Nicole Scattolini also improved her record at the number two singles position by overcoming a one-set deficit to win the last two sets 6-4, 6-2.  In all three doubles matches, the Colgate pairings proved too powerful for the Bison.
