COLGATE WOMEN'S TENNIS TAKES TWELVE OF EIGHTEEN AT NIKE FALL CLASSIC

ST. BONAVENTURE, NY – The Colgate women's tennis team was victorious in 12 of its 18 matches at the St. Bonaventure Classic.  Colgate went 4-2 against Niagara in singles and 0-3 in doubles.  Colgate went 5-1 in singles versus Buffalo, and 3-0 in doubles action.

Tash Eno, Jessica Fede, Sheila Rao and Emily Wenink all won both their singles matches for the weekend.  Lauren Erikson went 1-1 picking up a win on Saturday against Karen Maynard.

Colgate's three double's teams went undefeated on Friday against Buffalo and winless on Saturday versus Niagara.

The women's tennis team takes a few weeks off from match play to gear up for the Patriot League Championships at Lehigh.  The Tournament gets underway Saturday, October 19 and lasts through Sunday.
