Colgate's Wisner named Coach of the Year

The 1999-2000 ECAC Division III Women's Ice Hockey All-Star team has been announced. Regular-season champion Middlebury College led the way with four first-team selections. Representing the league champions on the first team were forwards Sylvia Ryan (Sr., Stellarton, Nova Scotia) and Michelle Labbe (Jr., Point Claire, Quebec) along with defensemen Catherine Elkins (So., Bernardsville, N.J.) and Catherine Pullins (Sr., New Canaan, Conn.). Forward Heather Murphy of Colgate (So., St. Paul, Minn.) and goaltender Josie Chapman (Jr., Bristol, R.I.) of Colby round out the first-team selections.

Middlebury's Sylvia Ryan (Sr., Stellarton, Nova Scotia) was named the Franklin/ECAC Player of the Year. Ryan ranked fourth in the league scoring race with 34 points. Josie Chapman (Jr., Bristol, R.I.) was selected as the Heaton/ECAC Goaltender of the Year.
