HAMILTON, N.Y.- The Colgate women’s hockey team will face a familiar opponent in the first round of the ECAC playoffs this weekend.  The Raiders take on the Big Green of Dartmouth, a team they have played six times in a little over a year.

Colgate will try to improve on an 0-6 mark in those games.  The Raiders have been outscored 46-4 in those six games, including 15-1 in two match-ups this season.

Dartmouth comes into the contest 22-7-0 and ranked 4th in the latest USA Today women's college hockey poll.  The Big Green have amassed a 12-4 mark in ECAC play.

Colgate comes in with a 12-19-1 record, and a much improved 4-11-1 record in the conference.  The Raiders finished just 2-12-2 in the ECAC in 2001-02.

Dartmouth is led by Carly Haggard with 29 goals, 19 assists for 48 points and Kate Weatherston who has amassed 37 points for the 2002-03 campaign.  Amy Ferguson leads the way in net with a 20-7 mark and a 2.09 goals against average.

Colgate is led by Cheryl Setchell with 18 points on nine goals and nine assists.  Freshman Allison Paiano tallied 10 goals in the regular season.  Between the pipes, Rebecca Lahar has been steady for the Raiders, saving a NCAA high 1005 shots on her way to a 3.62 goals against average.

The games are slated for 7:00 p.m. face-offs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday if necessary at Thompson Arena in Hanover, N.H.
