HAMILTON, NY- Findlay used a three goal third period to take down the Raiders on Saturday, 3-1.  Heidi Tallqvist's two third period scores were the difference for the Oilers.

The two teams played to a scoreless tie in the first period.  Sophomore goalie Rebecca Lahar continued her hot streak saving all 10 shots she faced in the frame.  Findlay's goalie Jessica Moffat saved all six shots she faced in the period.

Colgate took a 1-0 lead at 1:03 of the second period when Amanda Barre netted her seventh goal of the season off a wrap around pass from Maura Kehoe.  The goal came on a four-on-four situation and gave Colgate its first lead in a game since defeating Utica five games ago.

Findlay tied the game at 2:06 of the third on Tallqvist's first goal and 11th of the season.  Cori Forbes was credited with the assist.  Just a minute and a half later Tallqvist notched her second goal of the game giving Findlay the lead for good.  Michelle Hickley added an insurance goal at 16:10 from Jessica Priewe setting the final at 3-1.

Findlay outshot Colgate 30-21 including 13-4 in the third period.  Findlay went 0-6 on the power play while the Raiders finished 0-3.

Rebecca Lahar made 27 saves in net for the Raiders who are now 9-12 and suffering through a five game losing streak.

The same two teams face off tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Starr Rink.
