Northford, Conn. – A three-goal outburst by Colgate freshmen Kristy MacDonald (Cobourg, Ont.), Maura Kehoe (Chelseam, Que.), and Amanda Barre (Grafton, Ont.) in less than 2:30 secured a 3-2 Raider win over Quinnipiac on Friday night.

The Braves responded with a pair of goals in the third, including one by Gillian Gallagher with Quinnipiac's first goal of its Division I history at 9:33.

Colgate rookie Rebecca Lahar (Vienna, Va.) got her first start between the pipes, making 20 saves for the Raider win.  Quinnipiac's Catherine Lapare made 29 saves on 32 shots.

The Raiders will look to even up their 1-2-0 record when they return to the Northford Ice Pavilion for a rematch with Quinnipiac on Saturday, October 27, at 2:00 p.m.
