The winger took a pass from Katie Breen (North Andover, Mass.) to beat Maine goalie Dawn Froats (Moose Jaw, Sask.). The Black Bears opened the game with three straight goals in the first period, followed by two more in the second before McGlenn put the Raiders on the board. In the third, Maine's Karen Droog (Listowel, Ont.) scored a power-play tally at 7:04 to put the Black Bears up 6-1. Then, with 1:02 left in the game, Colgate freshman Cheryl Setchell (Sydney, N.S.) scored her first collegiate goal with fellow rookie Jen Fallon (Bayonne, N.J.) and sophomore Katie Koch (Exeter, N.H.) getting the helpers. Colgate junior goalie Jen Burtraw (Brantford, Conn.) got her first start of the season and made 20 saves in the loss. Froats had 23 stops for the Black Bear win. The Raiders will look to improve their luck on Sunday when they will meet Maine again for a 2:00 p.m. game in Starr Rink.
