WORCESTER, MASS. - With a goal in each period, junior forward Maura Crowell (Mansfield, Mass.) tallied her first career hat-trick in a 7-2 victory over Holy Cross.  Crowell's first marker came at 6:22 of the first period, followed by one at 16:21 of the second, and the final goal of the game at 17:32 of the third on the power play.

Goals from Annie Stover (Peapack, N.J.), Caitlin Hornyak (Middletown, Conn.), and Kara Lisavich (Salem, N.H.) put the Red Raiders up 4-0 as junior goaltender Kari Dequine (Aspen, Colo.) worked on her third shut-out of the season.  However, the Crusaders' Elizabeth Campbell broke out with a goal from Rachelle Beaudoin at 15:37 of the second.  Hornyak scored her second of the game at 12:16 of the third.

With Holy Cross's two goals, Dequine ended her unprecedented shutout streak.  Carrying over from her rookie year, Dequine's run of thwarting opponents ended after 365:22.  On the other end of the ice, the Crusaders' goaltender Jenelle DiSanto withstood 58 of 51 shots.

The Red Raiders are on the road again next weekend, facing off against second-year program Manhattanville on Saturday at 12:30, and against Sacred Heart on Sunday at 3 pm.
