Six Raiders Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

Hamilton, N.Y. - Six members of the Colgate University Women's Basketball team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Monday.  Vicky Briscoe (Landover, Md./Riverdale Baptist), Malissa Burke (E. Grand Rapids, Mich./E. Grand Rapids), Emily Damuth (Saginaw, Mich./Heritage), Danielle Fields (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Laughlin), Alison Hanson (Norwalk, Iowa/Dowling) and Allison Lipinski (Garfield Heights, Ohio/Garfield Heights) were among a total of 42 student-athletes named to the 2002 Patriot League Women's Basketball Academic Honor Roll, announced by Carolyn  Schlie Femovich.

 

To be eligible,  a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average (GPA) during the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the 13 League-sponsored championship sports in the winter or spring. 

 

The Raiders, who finished their season with a 14-17 overall record and a 7-7 record in the Patriot League begin open up the 2002-03 season in Washington, D.C. against Big East opponent Georgetown, Friday November 22 at 7 p.m.
