FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Colgate University athletic department has announced the hiring of Mari McClure as an assistant coach for the Raiders’ women’s basketball team. “We are very excited to have Mari join our staff,” said head coach Beth Spycher Combs. “She was a standout player for the University at Buffalo and I know that she will be able to build on the success she had as a student-athlete to help our team.” A native of Rochester Hills, Mich., McClure comes to Hamilton after an exceptional playing career at the University at Buffalo. A four-year letterwinner for the Bulls, McClure received numerous awards. She was named the team’s Most Improved Player in 1999 and won the Coaches’ Award for Most Distinguished in Character in 2000.
