ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy scored 11 of the first 13 points and led by double-digits for the final 30 minutes as the Midshipmen downed the Colgate women’s basketball team, 73-57 on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Hall.

Colgate (6-11, 1-4) was led by sophomore Emily Braseth (E. Grand Rapids, Mich.) with 15 points while junior Malissa Burke (Traverse City, Mich.) registered 12. Senior Ali Hanson (Norwalk, Iowa) had nine points and a team high six rebounds. Sophomore Leandra Fuller (Harrisburg, Pa.) also had six rebounds for the Raiders.

Navy (11-7, 1-4) was led by Adrienne Roseti with 19 points, Courtney Davidson with 16 and Maile Shimoda with 10.

Navy shot 46.8 percent from the field while Colgate converted on 33.3 percent but the Raiders outrebounded Navy 38-30.

Colgate returns to Hamilton on Friday, Jan. 31 to face Bucknell on Cotterell Court at 5:30 p.m.
