Hamilton, N.Y. - Allison Lipinski (Garfield Heights, Ohio/Garfield Heights), a freshman guard for the Colgate University women's basketball team, captured Patriot League Rookie of the Week accolades for the third time this season averaging 12.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game in two games for the Raiders during the week of February 11-16.  

With her 15 points on five three-point field goals against Navy, Lipinski broke a 21-year-old Colgate freshman scoring record.  Lipinski, who now has 422 points in 2001-02, surpassed the previous mark of 412 points set by Raider alumna Lisa Glading in 1980-81.  Against Bucknell, Lipinski was one of three Raiders to score in double-figures netting 10 points, grabbing three rebounds, passing off two assists and coming up with a career-high three steals.  

Lipinski leads the Raiders and is fourth in the Patriot League in scoring averaging 15.6 points per game and is tops in the league in three-point field goals made with 86 this season, which places her fifth overall in NCAA statistics.
