Hamilton, N.Y. - Allison Lipinski (Garfield Heights, Ohio/Garfield Heights), a freshman guard for the Colgate University women's basketball team has been named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for December 10-16.  

In Colgate's only action of the week, Lipinski netted five three-pointers and was 6-for-6 from the free throw line en route to a career-best  23 points in a 77-66 win at Albany.

Lipinski is the Raiders leading scorer averaging 15.8 points per game, shooting a Patriot League-leading 50 percent from the three-point line connecting on 27-of-54 attempts. 

Lipinski, who has been a regular in the Raiders starting line-up, has scored in double-digits in six games so far this season.  She is the second Colgate freshmen to earn Rookie of the Week honors in as many weeks with classmate Emily Braseth taking home the accolades December 10. 

Colgate has won three of its last four games and is currently 3-5.
