Colgate took its largest lead of the game at 21 on Lipinski's third three-pointer of the night with 17:11 on the clock. Cornell fought back, however, to cut the lead to nine with with 6:46 left in the game on a three-point play from Stevens who converted a lay-up and a foul shot following a foul from Colgate's Ali Hanson. But it proved to be too little too late as the Raiders outscored Cornell 14-8, following a 30 second time out by the Raiders' coaching staff, in the final six minutes of the game.
