Both teams came out strong in the first half, but the Red Raiders held a three-point advantage, 30-27, heading into the locker room.

Columbia shot better from the free throw line, posting a 66.7 percentage to Colgate's 58.8, and managed to out-rebound the Red Raiders.  Colgate responded with strong defensive play, forcing the Lions to turn the ball over 31 times.
