HAMILTON, N.Y. – Sophomore Colleen McCaffrey (West Springfield, Mass./Suffield Academy) earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors after posting 15 points in Colgate’s 97-84 loss to Canisius.  The 6-1 forward also pulled down seven rebounds in the contest.  She went 6-11 from the floor and swished 3-4 free throw attempts.  McCaffrey also added one assist and one steal to her 15-point performance.

McCaffrey leads Colgate in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game.  She is also the team’s top rebounder with 50 on the season and 7.1 boards per outing.  She has been in double figures six times and has one double-double this year. 

This is the second time McCaffrey has been selected Player of the Week, taking the honors on December 4^th after scoring 29 points and grabbing 12 rebounds against Long Island.
