COLGATE’S McCAFFREY NAMED PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HAMILTON, NY—Sophomore forward Colleen McCaffrey (W. Springfield, Mass.) was recently named Patriot League Player of the Week for her performance against Long Island University.

McCaffrey netted a career-high 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Colgate’s 86-83 overtime win against Long Island to receive the honors on December 4^th.  She also broke Colgate’s record for minutes played in a game with 46.

She is Colgate’s leading scorer averaging 15.2 points per game and first in rebounding with 7.2 per outing.  She has been in double figures for scoring five times and she has one double-double on the season.

McCaffrey is the first Red Raider to be selected for Patriot League Player of the Week this year.
