Men’s Cross Country
Places Fourth At Army Invitational Curran, Di Nizzo place 13th and 14th for the Raiders FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Julie Greco PHONE: (315) 228-7860 September 14, 2002 WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Colgate University men’s cross country team finished in fourth place at the Army Invitational in a five-way meet at the West Point Golf Course Saturday afternoon. Freshman Sean Curran (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and senior Louis Di Nuzzo (Loundonville, N.Y.) finished six seconds apart in finishing in 13th and 14th place, respectively. Curran ran the 8k event in 27:12 while Di Nuzzo finished in 27:18. Junior Travis Brooks (Oak Park, Ill.) placed 35th with a time of 28:05 and senior Xavier de Boissezon (Geneva, Switz.) finished in 28:34 to take 48th place. Greg Smith (57th), Kyle Barrett (65th), Andrew Middleton (82nd) and Jeremy Wattles (83rd) rounded out the field of Raider runners. Bucknell dominated the field by sweeping the top three spots and grabbing top honors with its 27 points followed by Army with 38. Cornell was a distant third with 65 points followed by Colgate with 109 and Holy Cross with 143. The Raiders are back in action on
Saturday, Oct. 5 when they travel to the Oneonta Invitational. Start time
