RAIDERS FINISH FOURTH AT PATRIOT LEAGUE INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

West Point, NY. - Junior Tyrone Russell led the Raiders to a fourth place finish in the 2002 Patriot League Indoor Championships.

Russell, who earned Track Performer of the Meet Honors, placed first in the 200 meter dash with a Colgate record setting time of 21.88.  Russell also took first in the 400 meter run with a time of 49.24.

Mike Saunders placed second for the Raiders in the 1000 meter run with a school record time of 2:27.39.

Louis DiNuzzo took grabbed sixth and seventh place finishes in the 3000 meter and 5000 meter, respectively.

The men's 4x400 relay nabbed a first place finish, while the 4x800 team took fourth and the distance medley team took fifth.

Marion Jones finished fourth in the long jump while Barry Jones took a second place finish in the triple.  

Duevorn Harris continued his great season with a first place finish in the weight throw at 18.54 meters.
