RAIDERS COMPETE AT HUSKY INVITATIONAL

BOSTON, MA. - The Men's indoor track team competed in Boston Friday at the Northeastern Husky Invitational, composed of 14 teams in all.  Overall Colgate placed tenth, while Rutgers went home with the title, University of Mass. Lowell came in second, and Northeastern finished third.

The top finisher for Colgate was Tyrone Russell who placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.29.  Duevorn Harris finished fourth overall for the Raiders in the Weight Throw.  Also scoring for Colgate was Eric Hiller in the 400 meter run, the 4X400 relay team, and the Distance Medley team.

Colgate also entered Louis DiNuzzo in the Boston University Terrier Classic on Friday.  In that meet Dinuzzo ran in Section 3 of the 5,000 meter run.  He finished 9th in his section with a time of 15:15.48.

Colgate will next travel to New York City where they will be competing in the Millrose Games in Madison Square Garden.
