RAIDERS PLACE THIRD AT CORNELL ITHACA, N.Y. - The men's indoor track team placed third overall at Cornell Saturday against Cornell, Ithaca and Pennsylvania. Senior Duevorn Harris (Newark, Del.) broke the Colgate 35 pound weight throw record that he set back in 1998. His second place throw of 17.62 meters qualifies him for the IC4A championships that will take place in Boston in March. Senior Tyronne Russell (Ithaca, N.Y.) took first in the 400 meter dash is now only .26 seconds from IC4A qualifying. Sophomore John Irving (Dallas, Tx.) placed second in the high jump at 6' 5" Sophomore Louie DiNuzzo (Loundonville, N.Y.) scoring in both the mile (sixth, 4:23.85) and 1000 (fifth, 2:37.68) and a leg of the scoring 4x800 (third, 8:10.21) relay.
