Went 3-5 in singles and 2-3 in doubles
during the fall season ... had two of his singles wins at the Brown
Invitational where he defeated John Lashnits (Bucknell) and Michael
Reiser (Boston College) ... also won a set versus Jonathan Gamberg
(Stony Brook) at the Cornell Invitational in September ... defeated
a duo from Binghamton along with Matthew McCormick at the Cornell
Invitational in September ... defeated a group from Fairfield with
partner Chris Innes at the Cornell Invitational in October.
High School:
MacIntyre enters
his first year at Colgate after lettering all four years at St. Albans
... he went 11-3 during his senior year in No. 1 singles .. he was a
four-time all-conference player and a two-time all-met Washington
Post honorable mention. He earned the Coach's Award his
freshman year, was the team's MVP his sophomore, junior and senior
years ... a three-time captain of the tennis team ... as of July 5, he was ranked 14th by the USTA in the
Mid-Atlantic section and 304th in nation ... played and defeated
seeds in five USTA national tournaments ... MacIntyre also was a
three-year letterwinner in football and was a senior co-captain ... named the Top Scholar-Athlete at St. Albans.
