HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Colgate Athletic Department has named Ned Wheeler to replace Bryan Whitt, who resigned last week as the men’s and women’s assistant tennis coach. 
 
Wheeler graduated from Harvard University in 1999, where he was a member of the Crimson tennis team from 1995-96.  He was also a member of the baseball team from 1996-97.

Wheeler worked as the head tennis professional at Sakonnet Golf Club in Rhode Island in 2002.  He managed all tennis programs including junior and adult group clinics, inter-club team matches, pro-am tournaments, club championships, private lessons and pro shop for a 800-plus member club.

Wheeler represented New England in the Junior Davis Cup competition in 1996 and 1997 and achieved a top 10 regional ranking for his age group from 1990-94.
