HANOVER, NH – The Colgate men's tennis team notched a huge victory, upsetting the Big Green, in Hanover nonetheless, for their first ever win over Dartmouth in team history.  The final score of the match was 4-3.

Reed Hagmann led things off for Colgate, beating David Webb 7-5, 4-6, 6-4.  Jake Heims also helped the Raiders' cause, winning his No.3 singles match 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 over Raj Shrestha.  In No. 5 singles it was Jon Bedard winning for the Colgate, 6-1, 7-5 over Greyd Incelli.  With those three singles victories, the Raiders won three team points.

The Raiders' earned their final team point in doubles, winning the No.2 and No.3 matches.  In No.2 singles, Evan Ambrose and Bedard beat Shrestha and Rashaad Elder-Bush 8-5.  In No.3 singles, Blake Willmarth and Eric Saccullo defeated Logan West and Priya Sahu 8-4. 

Colgate improved upon their impressive start to the season with the victory.  They are now 6-2.

The Raiders will next take to the courts on Saturday, March 8th.  They will be hosting Stony Brook University.  The matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
