COLGATE FALLS TO YALE IN SEASON'S SECOND MATCH

New Haven, CT – The Colgate men's tennis team fell to a strong Yale team on Sunday, finding themselves on the wrong end of a 6-1 score line.  Jon Bedard notched the Raiders' lone singles match victory, getting the best of Matt Feldman, 6-4, 6-4. 

The doubles pairing of Evan Ambrose and Jake Heims also put in a strong performance in their No.2 doubles match up against David Goldman and Milosz Gudzowsk.  Unfortunately, they ended up suffering a narrow 9-7 loss.

The loss drops the Raiders to 1-1 on this young season.

The Colgate men will next take to the courts on Friday, February 7th when they take on Bloomsburg University.  The matches are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m at the Eastside Racquet Club in Manlius, N.Y.  The Raider women will follow, also taking on Bloomsburg, their matches slated for a 6:30 start.
