Hamilton, NY - Freshman netman Reed Hagmann defeated his first two opponents at the 2001 Patriot League Men's Tennis Flighted Championships to reach the championship match of the Second Singles Flight.  

Hagmann defeated American's Tushar Garg 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of the second flight and then downed H'Cone Thompson of Lafayette, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 in their semifinals pairing. Garg was the second seed in this flight.  

Hagmann will square off with Army's Kent Ball, the top seed in the second flight of the tournament, in the championship match. 

Colgate's Andrew Davis reached the semifinals round of the Fourth Flight defeating Dan Seward of Lafayette, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, before bowing to Navy's Ryan Osgood 6-0, 6-3.

In doubles action, the Raider's Andrew Davis and Jon Bedard advanced to the finals of the Second Doubles Flight winning their opening round match versus Lehigh's Samuels and Fuller, 8-4 and their semifinals match-up against Garg and Kulcsar of American, 8-6
