ITHACA, NY - The Colgate men's tennis team had another impressive outing, gaining solid singles and double victories at the Cornell Outdoor Fall Invitational at the Reis Athletic Center in Ithaca, N.Y. Saturday and Sunday.  

In singles Flight A, freshman netmen Reed Hagmann and senior captain Evan Paushter both earned victories over Ivy League opponents.  Hagmann defeated Andrew Kolker of Penn in two-set fashion 6-2 and 6-4, while Paushter played a hard fought battle against Andrew Rosenfeld of Yale, 7-6 (5), 2-6, 7-6 (3).

Sophomore Eric Saccullo highlighted the Raiders' matches winning two straight matches and gaining a berth into the semi-final round.  Saccullo downed Johnny Lu of Yale, 7-6 (6) and 6-4 and then went on to defeat Anthony Pu of Penn handily 6-3 and 6-1.  Saccullo dropped his semi-final match-up to Cornell's Chris Lewis 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.  

The Raiders return to the courts, October 5-7 at the ECAC Invitational hosted by Harvard.
