The Colgate men's tennis team completed its weekend sweep by sliding past University of Maryland-Baltimore County 4-3.  The strong performance by the team is evidence that it will prove a tough challenger for reigning Patriot League champion Army this weekend.

The squad was again led by the play of its captains, Evan Paushter and JP Johnson.  Paushter and Johnson were victorious in their single's matches at the second and fourth seeds respectively.  Paushter also teamed up with sophomore star Eric Saccullo for an 8-5 win at the lead doubles spot.  Johnson, paired with newcomer Reed Hagmann, helped earn an 8-0 shutout at two doubles.

The Raiders improve to 3-2 on the spring season as they gear up for their biggest match of the year thus far, when they take on the Black Knights of Army (6-0).  The match will take place in Sanford Field House on Saturday, February 16th, at 10:00am.
