OVERWHELMS LAFAYETTE 7-0
Hamilton, NY. - (3/24) -
Lafayette arrived at Colgate with some momentum after downing
Franklin and Marshall 7-0 on Friday. However, Saturday
proved to be a very different day of tennis. The match
began with Eric Saccullo overpowering H'Cone Thompson in
doubles play. Three hours later, the match ended with
Saccullo completing the sweep in a thrilling three set victory
over Thompson in singles action. The men's tennis team
garnered its first Patriot League victory on Saturday by
winning all 9 of its matches. Captain Evan Paushster had
an impressive 6-0, 6-0 victory at number 4
singles.
The Red Raiders next match is at Army on Saturday, March 31st.
