RED RAIDERS EVEN THEIR MARK AGAINST UMASS

Amherst, Mass. - (2/18) - Once again, the Colgate men's squad came through in the clutch. Despite facing double-match point in the all-important deciding doubles match, the tandem of Davis and Bedard managed to win the match and get the Red Raiders off to a flying start. Colgate was bolstered by the return to singles of Evan Paushter and Owen Fileti, who both won. Jon Bedard, after splitting the first two sets, just played a tiebreak for the 3rd set, because the match was already decided. Andrew Davis, with his powerful forehand, forced his opponent to retire from the match.

The Red Raiders resume action Saturday, February 24th at Cornell.
