Sweeps Weekend With Hofstra Shutout
Hamilton, N.Y. --
The Colgate University men's tennis team recorded a sweep of
its weekend action with wins against Hofstra (7-0) and the
University of Marlyand-Baltimore County (5-2) to even its
spring season record at 2-2.
Against Hofstra, the men were led by Eric Saccullo who romped
at #1 singles defeating Sergei Mikeladaze 6-2, 6-0, while
Zander Lowe recorded his third straight match victory with a
6-4, 6-1 win at #6 singles against Michael Levine.
Owen Fileti returned to the singles lineup after missing
the first two matches of the season to injury and posted a
7-5, 6-2 win at #4 singles against James Tsai.
