HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate University head swimming coach Bill Roberts has named Adam Kennedy as an assistant swimming coach.

"Adam was a great swimmer in his day at Davidson College.,” Roberts said. “His experience as a collegiate athlete and swimmer will be a great addition to the Colgate swimming and diving staff.”

Kennedy comes to Colgate after recently finishing his four-year swimming career at Davidson College (N.C.) where he was a four-year letterwinner for the Division I program that won the team conference championship in 1998.

Kennedy received his bachelors degree from Davidson in May of 2001 in History.

Before Davidson, Kennedy was a four-year letterwinner at Sunset High School in Portland, Ore. and also a member of Tualatin Hills Swim Club from 1991-1997.

"Adam also has family ties in the Norwich area so I'm sure he will be very comfortable here in Hamilton," Roberts added.
