FORMER COLGATE ATHLETE APPOINTED ASSISTANT
SWIM COACH
April 5, 2002
HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate University
head men's and
women's swim coach, Bill Roberts, has appointed Erin Scott '85 as an
assistant coach beginning in the 2002-03 academic
year.
Scott returns to her alma mater where she was one of the greatest
distance swimmers in school history. She still ranks on 11 of
Colgate's Top 10 lists as of 2002. Her last standing record, as
a part of the 400 free relay team in 1985, was recently broken by the
current Raider 400 relay team at the Patriot League Championships.
"I cannot wait for Erin to get going
with Colgate University," Roberts said. "Her experiences
as a student-athlete at Colgate, coupled with her bright personality will
make her an excellent coach."
Scott previously coached as an assistant at
Rutgers. She will also contribute to the Colgate Swim Camp
which is held in June.
