CENTER VALLEY, PA - The Colgate University swimming and diving team placed four members on the 2002 all-Patriot League team, announced by Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich.

Freshman diver Lane Ellis (Warwick, N.Y.) led the way for the Raider team with his Diver of the Meet honors after taking first place in the one-meter boards and second in the three-meter.

Junior Matt Vuturo (Libertyville, Ill.) also earned all-league honors for the men's team for his first place performance in the 100 fly.

For the women's team, Alice Garnett (Wilmette, Ill.) and freshman Meghan Binder (Sudbury, Mass.) earned league honors for their performances.  

Garnett, who repeats her 2001 all-league honor, placed fifth in the 200 back and was a part of the third place 400 free relay team. 

Binder, a freshman, earned her honors for her sixth place finish in the 200 butterfly, and as a part of the third place 400 free relay team.
