HAMILTON, N.Y.  - The Colgate University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision in its Patriot League opener at Bucknell Saturday afternoon.

Bucknell scored the lone goal of the game in the 73rd minute when Nick Taylor knocked in a rebound.  Scott Visnic picked up the assist on the Bison goal.

Colgate was outshot 17-8 and outcornered 6-1.  Only one of its eight shots went on net.

Will Martin (Excelsior, MN/Breck) played brilliantly and made nine stops for the Raiders.

Colgate, now 2-2-2 overall and 0-1 in the Patriot League, steps out of conference play Tuesday night when it hosts Cornell in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Van Doren Field.
