Two Second Half Crusader Goals Put Down

Contact: Christina Cracolici Phone: (315) 228-6761 Hamilton, N.Y. - Paul Kitson broke a scoreless tie in the 64th minute and Chris Napolitano added a late goal in the 90th minute to lead the College of the Holy Cross (4-2-1, 2-0-1 PL) to a 2-0 Patriot League win over Colgate University (3-6, 1-2 PL), Saturday in Worcester, Mass. Napolitano, the Crusaders leading scorer, assisted on Kitson's game-winning goal after the two teams had battled through a scoreless first half. Matt Ney assisted on Napolitano's insurance goal in the 90th minute. The Raiders out-shot Holy Cross 16-10 but could not find the back of the net throughout the 90 minutes of play. The Crusaders' Kevin Baker earned the shutout turning away three Colgate shots, while Raider Jon Brunell, making his fifth start of the season, made three saves. Colgate will return to action, Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. for a non-league contest against Roberts Wesleyan College.
