Jarolimek Earns Second Rookie of the
Week Honor
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HAMILTON, N.Y. – For the second time this season, freshman Andrew Jarolimek (Silverthorne, Colo.) was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week. The Raiders posted three victories last week, defeating Canisius 12-8, beating Holy Cross 15-3 and downing Binghamton 9-3. Jarolimek, who was named the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week on March 31 and Defensive Player of the Week on April 16, has a .597 save percentage on the season. Last week, he averaged 8.67 saves per game, a .703 save percentage and posted a 3.67 goals against average. He had his best game of the season against the Crusaders, stopping five shots and allowing zero goals and followed that by making 12 saves and allowing only three goals against the Bearcats. The Raiders play their final game of the season on Tuesday, April 29 when they host Harvard University on Tyler’s Field in Hamilton, N.Y. Face off is set for 7:00 p.m. |
