Hatton Scores Three Goals To Sink Crusaders

-  Colgate freshman Daniel Hatton (Coming, NY) scored three goals and added two assists to help lead the visiting Red Raiders of Colgate over the host Crusaders of Holy Cross in a Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse match up today at the Hart Center Astroturf Field.

Colgate came out firing and scored the first six goals of the game to take a 6-0 lead after one quarter.  The Crusaders got on the board early in the second quarter in a goal by senior Greg Neufeld (Floral Park, NY), but the Red Raiders kept up the offensive pressure and outscored HC 5-3 in the quarter to carry an 11-3 lead into halftime.  

Colgate extended the lead to 13-4 after three quarters, but the Crusaders outscored the Red Raiders 4-3 in the fourth quarter to reach the final outcome.
