COLGATE SKATES TO A 2-2 TIE WITH PRINCETON Saturday, March 1, 2003 (315) 228-7566 PRINCETON, NJ—Princeton's Brett Westgarth scored the game-tying goal at 14:13 of the third period to salvage a 2-2 tie with Colgate Saturday night at Hobey Baker Rink. Colgate hosts St. Lawrence in the first round of the ECAC playoffs next weekend at Starr Rink. Junior Kyle Doyle gave Colgate a 1-0 lead at 17:31 of the first period with a backhanded shot. Scooter Smith and Adam Mitchell assisted on Doyle's goal. Smith then gave the Raiders a 2-0 lead at 15:09 of the second period on a breakaway from Mitchell. Princeton cut the lead 2-1 six minutes into the third period on a goal from Sebastian Borza and assisted by Sharam Fouladgar-Mercer. The Tigers tied it up
2-2 at 14:13 on a slapshot from Brett Westgarth. Matt Maglione and
Fouldgar-Mercer assisted on the goal.
