MEN'S HOCKEY FALLS 5-2 TO UNION

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.--Union's Kris Goodjohn netted a hat-trick and an assist as he led the Skating Dutchmen past Colgate 5-2 on Friday at Achilles Rink.

Brent Booth scored the back-breaker at 17:54 of the third period from Randy Dagenais and Goodjohn.

Darryl McKinnon scored Colgate's second goal at 14:00 of the second with Bob Vandersluis and Adam Mitchell getting credit for the helpers.

Goodjohn completed his hat-trick at 8:29 of the second period after putting Union up 3-1 on the power play at 6:56.

Nathan Gillies scored the Skating Dutchmen's second goal with just 11 seconds left in the first period.

Raider P.J. Yedon tied the score at one at 7:17 with a power play goal set up by Etienne Morin and Rob Brown.

Goodjohn opened the scoring at 4:22 of the first period off a pass from Jeff Hutchins.

Brandon Snee made 32 saves for Union in the win, while David Cann made six saves and allowed four goals before being relieved by Jason Lefevre who finished the game with 12 saves.
