COLGATE'S CANN NAMED ECAC GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK

CAPE COD, Mass.--Sophomore goaltender David Cann (Brampton, Ont.) of the Colgate men's ice hockey team was named the ECAC Goaltender of the Week Sunday for the week of January 21-27. 

On Friday, Jan. 25, Cann made 32 saves as the Raiders posted a 4-3 win over St. Lawrence. The win marked Cann's first career victory over the Saints and it was also the first time the Raiders defeated St. Lawrence in Appleton Arena in six years.

In the 2-2 overtime draw with Clarkson, Saturday, Jan. 26, Cann finished with 30 saves. This was also Cann's  first career tie and snapped a three-game losing streak to the Golden Knights. 

Colgate will host Brown Friday night at 7 p.m. and Harvard Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
