HAMILTON, N.Y. --The Colgate University men's and women's crew teams competed against Drexel and Hamilton Sunday at Lake Moraine.

The men's team just competed against Hamilton as the Varsity 8 and Novice 8 both took first place with times of 4:57.3 and 5:16.4, respectively. Hamilton had times of 5:04.9 in the Varsity 8 and 5:23.8 in the Novice 8. In the men's Novice 4, Hamilton edged out the Raiders with a time of 5:58.7. Colgate came in at 5:59.6.

On the women's side, Drexel won the Women's Varsity 8 and second Varsity 8 races. In the first race, Drexel had a winning time of 5:36.2 while Colgate finished with a time of 5:47.5. Hamilton came in third at 5:56. In the second Varsity 8 race, Drexel took first with a time of 5:53 while Colgate finished with a time of 5:59.

In the women's Novice 8, Colgate came in first with a time of 5:54. Drexel took second with a time of 6:01.5 while Hamilton came in third with a time of 6:28.

Colgate returns to action on Saturday, April 19 in the Seneca Cup against Hobart & William Smith on Lake Moraine.
