(Complete Release In PDF Format) HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Colgate University basketball team (10-8 overall, 2-4 Patriot League) will take a break from its Patriot League schedule, when the Raiders travel to Binghamton University (7-12, America East 4-5) for its final non-conference game of the season. Tip-off is 7:00 p.m. at West Gymnasium. The Raiders snapped a two-game losing streak on Saturday with an impressive road win over Lafayette College, 71-67. Senior Pat Campolieta led Colgate with 18 points and five rebounds, while Mark Linebaugh netted 14 points and Tim Sullivan added 12. Binghamton, playing its first season in the America East conference, dropped its last outing, losing at home to conference rival Boston University, 55-53. Junior forward Jeffrey St. Fort led the Bearcats with 11 points and eight rebounds. This is the fourth meeting between Colgate and Binghamton. The Raiders have the previous three contests, including a dramatic 56-54 win last year at Cotterell Court on Linebaugh’s 3-point basket at the buzzer. Campolieta, the first player in school history to rank in the Top 10 in career scoring (1,488), rebounding (623), assists (212) and steals (175), continues to lead Colgate in scoring and rebounding. He is averaging 15.8 points per game and 7.1 caroms per outing, which is good for third place in the Patriot League in both categories. Linebaugh is second in scoring with 11.7 points per game, while Howard Blue is third with 11.2 points per game. Sullivan is averaging 9.8 ppg and Dave Hardy 8.5 ppg.
